During the “Construction Documents” phase, technical drawings are created that precisely identify all aspects of the plan at a level of detail that’s precise and complete enough to support actual construction. These drawings are detailed enough to form the basis for “bidding out” the project to construction firms.
The Construction Documents are reviewed at three stages by Department of Parks and Recreation staff – covering, for instance, the plumbing, electrical, and carpentry trades – to make sure that the plans confirm to Park standards such as plumbers, electricians and carpenters to make sure that they conform to Park standards.
When the Construction Documents are approved, the project can be bid and constructed, once funds have been identified.
At this time, no funding or schedule has been identified for the Construction Documents phase for this project.
